The most common modification to a supermoto bike is to remove the big ugly mirrors. A great way to combat this and stay semi-legal is to use a pair of mini supermoto mirrors. These mirrors became very popular due to their low-key characteristics yet functional parts. You will never have as good a view as a pair of big OEM mirrors, but compared to having none, these are great. Even though you might not be able to inspect the bike with them, if you are lucky the cops can let you go since you have a pair of mirrors.
